The fourteenth amendment?
The 14th Amendment to the Constitution was ratified on July 9, 1868, and granted citizenship to “all persons born or naturalized in the United States,” which included former slaves recently freed. In addition, it forbids states from denying any person "life, liberty or property, without due process of law" or to "deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.” By directly mentioning the role of the states, the 14th Amendment greatly expanded the protection of civil rights to all Americans and is cited in more litigation than any other amendment

Will the Obama Administration weather out the Fast and Furious Scandal that is rocking the ATF?
It could affect the DOJ and someone in the White House possibly Biden's aide could take the hit and be jailed just like Scooter Libby.
Horsey birthday party ideas for 14th birthday?
Hiya it's my fourteenth birthday next month, and a horsey birthday would be fun, but I don't know what to do! I want it to be original and unusual and fun! BUT, none of my friends have horses, and I just have a share horse, so although we do have acsess to one horse, they can't all ride her as she's quite old and it'd be confusing and tiring for her. We could still do something WITH her though, but just not on her probably. I'd rather I didn't have a party at a riding school cos I don't really know any good ones in the area that I'd like to have a party at, also it's not very original idea. But i'd really like it to be horsey! Imaginative ideas please? 10 easy points :)

Our Dad was admitted to the hospital for the second time in a week yesterday. He had over 32 lbs of water weight. They upped him from 1/2 lasix water pill to 4 last week and sent him home. He ended up in ER yesterday with same 30 lbs water being retained. I spoke with his doctor and they are going to remove as much water as they can and send him home in a day or two. I am his health POA and I asked the Dr where do we go from here? He said day by day, he is going to send him home on oxygen and have some home health aides come in a few times per week. I asked the nurse if she though he could continue living alone until this fall and she told me I'd be fortunate to still have him than? I am scared has anyone gone thru this? My Dad is stubborn and wants to die in his home, I want to move him home as my siblings and I live three hours away? How long do we have
