I feel like Im being watched?

Well earlier at class the students were campaigning for the student council when i felt like I was being watched and just as the students who are campaigning entered and while they were introducing them selves(I'm in front by the way) i kind of catch one of the campaigners looking at me it feels a bit weird and while we were having break i felt it again and the person who was looking at me(in class) was also there sitting in one of the benches.can anyone explain what this means is he the one looking at me?(his a friend of a friend of mine by the way but i never met him)
