Should I get my 2 year old an Iphone?

I love my iphone and I've seen a lot of 2 year olds with Ipads in my neighborhood. I'm wondering if an Iphone is a good idea. I'm concern that something might happen at day care where he might need access to a phone and if the teacher or aide is not nearby I would never forgive myself If my son found himself a situation he couldn't call for help. The iphone is much easier for him to navigate than is an iphone but i have my doubts. Do any parents give there children an iphone?
