Do you approve of fantasy with firearms ?

hey everyone.i have recently come across a concept of fantasy that has guns in it.mainly tabletop games and books.now i tend to call stuff like this industrial fantasy but thats just me sadly and its also not like steampunk settings.now i study medieval european martial arts and western swordfighting and i enjoy learning about early european history.so the first firearms apeared around the fourteenth century and gradually evolved along with weapons such as swords and the like.so do guns really fit in fantasy ? nothing crazy just in my opinion muskets and flintlocks sound fine with me.i am also a amateur writer and would like to publish a book or series someday.so i have been experimenting with the concept of guns in fantasy.also are their any good example's ?
