What can Ibn Battuta’s account of his travels in sub-Saharan Africa tell us about the connections—cultural, co?

Ibn's travels are one of the most remarkable ever. He wrote about the people he met, but also from his perspective. He told of Islam in various countries, and also about those who were not followers. He spoke of people friendships and cultures, as well as foods and clothing. It is a remarkable legacy.
