Best way to work with troublesome young co-workers?

I think that if you are in a position where you should be taking care of problems like this then you should. As it seems right now, you are totally letting these young kids step all over you. You also have to keep in mind that this is most of those kids first jobs and in reality they don't know how to act. High School is totally different from the real world and it definitely takes some guidance from others to help them out. If they get offended explain to them that you are only trying to get the best out of them, you want them to shine infront of the people higher in charge. You are going to definitely use small words, and don't make it intimidating for them, maybe ask one of them to shadow you on a task, and just sorta throw it withing your conversation. Don't go up to them and tell them, can we talk in about 10 minutes...because (being young) that will just put them in defensive mode...
