College cost? loan?? what should i do? would appreciate any help!?

ok so am attending a school that cost 40,000 for the years!..the school it self gave me a scholarship, plus subsized &unsubsized loan plus pell and tap. all these awards added up to 23,000. so am now left to take 17,000 out of loan for the year..IS IT WORTH IT? am just confused i thought maybe with a school so costy i would really get help!..what should i do right noww?? do you think somethin is wrong with my financial aide or something? am so depressed over this situation because i live with my step mom and she has a bad credit, so she didnt qualify for the student loan. please helpp!!
