Do you think kids today have more insight and perspective than they ever used to?

I just finished my degree in education from WVU. I'm 22 years old and I went to a very small school in southern WV. I can tell you from experience that I was not ever afraid to get in troube on high school or middle school. I acted up in every class and was kicked out of class many times than i could ever remember but never suspended or expelled. I was on the honor roll in Nat honor society and received and accepted scholarship to play baseball at WVU. I can tell you that I spent a lot of my nights on the internet learning about the human condition psychology and sociology slog with the universe, physics and. Quantum mechanics. The internet made me smarter than my teachers and I never looked upon them as authority in any way. For some reason I want to be a teacher for that exact reason.
