What was the outcome of this case. It has to do with whether the Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment compels the exclusion, in a state criminal trial, apart from any consideration of reliability, of pretrial identification evidence obtained by a police procedure that was both suggestive and unnecessary. I keep reading it over and over and I can't tell what the decision is or what it means. It says reliability is the linchpin? Does this mean they allowed the evidence or not?
